Insulation Materials

Insulation is the layer that encases the consumer product and ‘insulates’ the entire package, maintaining the correct temperature as created by the coolant and payload. This insulation layer acts as a barrier, preventing heat from entering and ensuring that no cold air leaves the sealed container, thus stopping any unwanted flow between the product and the external environment. Insulation can also act as a cushioning layer to maintain the condition and appearance of product sent, which is critical as product value can be lost when shape, size and taste is altered during transit.
